BA Collection 2010:
'Stephanie has a unique interest in electronics used in jewellery. This collection of work consists of wearables which aim to encourage interaction between the wearer and viewer. With the use of sensory technology the pieces detect sound, movement and touch, which in turn encourage personal interaction in terms of verbal communication through to physical contact. Although complex, the electronic features do not compromise the overall sense of fun and curiosity, which Stephanie feels is a poignant theme in her work
Stephanie creates statement pieces of jewellery, which combine both precious and non-precious materials. Her jewellery has a sophisticated elegant style, teamed with an integrally generated use of bold and confident colour.'
